Our Australian friends are nothing short of legendary when it comes to health and safety, drinking, or both. In the Western Australian town of Newman, one local taxied his aircraft down a street before stopping outside a pub. He then proceeded to go in for a drink before being stopped by police. Locals were quite baffled by the sight of the light plane propelling through the town, more so by the fact that it did not have any wings! Although police were quick to label this a stupid and dangerous idea, many locals including staff at the pub were calling the man a “Legend” for the way he arrived.
