For many amongst us who are wondering whether we are alone in the Universe, an amateur astronomer appears to have put fuel in the fire: Pictures taken of the Red Planet showing what appears to be a smiley face with arms out to embrace! YouTuber TheCalifornian posted shots of the 230km-wide crater, dubbed the “Happy Face Crater” after spotting it when using Google Mars. It seems like only yesterday we were finding images of faces on our toast, doesn’t it?
